Christina L. Myers, an assistant professor in the School of betboom casino, joined MSUPresident Kevin M. Guskiewicz and 60 other faculty and administrators from the university on the 2024 betboom casino Bus Tour.
During the three-day betboom casino, Myers got to travel through the western Lower Peninsula of Michigan and learn about MSU’s impact around the state.
At the closing reception for the inaugural betboom casino Bus Tour, Myers started her remarks with thanking President Guskiewicz and everyone involved in the organization of the tour for the “demonstration of a community within a community that truly has a heart and passion for people, purpose and progress.”
During her time on the bus tour, she witnessed colleagues meeting for the first time and joined for a single mission centered on love for MSU. Over the three days, they forged a community and a sense of family. Myers stated that she finally knows what it means and what it feels like to be a betboom casino.
Finishing her remarks, she left everyone with an affirmation just like she does with her students.
“On our hard days, challenging days and even the moments that leave us tired, weary or drained, remember the glimmers, the moments in our day that make us feel joy, happiness, peace or gratitude — that little light within that brings a smile to our face. Remember the glimmers of these three days. Let us continue – together – from this day forward, to maintain what we’ve attained in unity and community to continue working toward a sustainable future for those who have the great privilege and blessing of touching the lives of those across this great state and beyond. Let what we’ve felt, what we feel in this moment be shared with all those we come in contact with us. And remember: Spartans will because we already and always have.”
