While taking part in the immersive cohort, students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including mentorship, coaching, academic planning, career exploration, and experiential learning.

Ignite students learn from Rich Paul at Detroit Industry Luncheon
Ignite students attended the annual Detroit Multicultural Media Luncheon and Award Ceremony to celebrate multicultural media in the Automotive Industry through 2022 advertisements.
This event took place during the Detroit Auto Press Week to shine a spotlight on trailblazer marketing spots and professionals who are positively making an impact on the perception of multicultural communications in the local and national scene.
The Ajamu Group is a Media Advertising Sales and Event Management Firm founded by CEO Cheryl D. Parks Ajamu who is dedicated to increase advertising revenues and brand awareness for clients. betboom sports bettingThey heard from the keynote speaker, Rich Paul, the CEO and Founder of @klutchsports which works to negotiate billions of dollars and deals for athlete clientele in areas such as LA and Cleveland.
Our students were so thankful to have had this opportunity and look forward to participating in more events celebrating those making strides in their dream professions!
Annual outings like Cider Mill and Bowling bring cohorts together
Each semester, Ignite students are invited to the Cider Mill for an afternoon of hayrides, corn maze, and of course cider and donuts. This is one of many bonding events that we provide students with as an effort to build community among cohorts as well as with program and college staff. We recognize that while many students are only a car ride a way from home, many students are far distances away from family and support systems.
We strive to provide a community structure where all students can lean on each other for advice and lean on staff for support in navigating their campus environments.
