Bio

As Director of the M.A. Strategic Communications program, betboom collaborates with an amazing team across departments to help build an integrated digital and social media campaigns to attract domestic and international students, and engage alumni and industry alliances to generate interest and enrollment in the program. He works with faculty on course development and design as well as teach in the program.

betboom also works with the college on building business partnerships both domestically and Internationally. He speaks in classes and at conferences as well as teaching a course on communication strategy in the Executive MBA program within the Broad College of Business.

betboom previously served as Vice President for Marketing for Media Fusion – a tech startup in San Antonio, TX. He also has been a course designer and adjunct instructor for over ten years in the Department of Communication and Media at Spring Arbor University.

Before those roles, He had the privilege of leading global reorganization and rebranding of FMCUSA and their global communications department, Light & Life Communications as the Executive Director of betboom.

Roles

  1. Lead the development and growth of the program.
  2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the online M.A. program.
  3. Work closely with faculty to develop world-class curriculum.
  4. Create online content, work closely with faculty to ensure high quality instruction and evaluation.
  5. Advise all students in the program.
  6. Teach in the program.

CAS 832: Strategic Message Development

The course takes an integrative approach in message design, which brings together critical thinking from marketing, psychology, betboom and creative writing.

Offered to Strategic betboom M.A. degree seeking students in summer sessions. Course Description

PIM 891: Special Topics in Business

Co-teach a course on betboom strategy and risk/crisis. Open to Executive MBA students in the Eli Broad College of Business and The Eli Broad Graduate School of Management.
