Deepak Giri is a doctoral betboom casino in the department of Media & Information in the College of Communication, Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University. He earned his master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering at Indiana University, Indianapolis. Before embarking on graduate school, he served as a full-time product designer in India.Throughout his career in product design, he has worked extensively with cross-functional teams across multiple countries. In his last industry stint, he worked with Byju’s, which was one of the world's largest education technology organizations at the time, where he designed products for their augmented reality division based in Palo Alto, California. Deepak's interests are on the intersection of HCI, disability and inclusion. His work primarily focusses on people with neurologically based conditions like Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. His prior work explored how artificial intelligence chatbots aid neurodivergent individuals in daily sense-making.
