Zheran Liu is a doctoral betboom dacha in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations in the Information and Media PhD program. Her research interest focus on social media influencer (SMI) marketing. Currently, her research concentrates on Agricultural SMI Marketing, Rural E-commerce and Consumer Behavior.
Before joining MSU, Zheran was a civil servant in China, and she had worked for the government for 2 years. She also has experience working for a TV station and a betboom dacha company, where she was responsible for advertising, public relations, and influencer marketing. She studied in the UK for 4 years and earned her M.A. from Southampton University and her B.A. from Sussex University. In addition, Zheran has been a volunteer for the Stray Cats and Dogs Rescue organization for nearly 10 years.
