Yvens received a BA in communication from the State University of Haiti and an MA in Communication with a specialization in nonprofit fundraising from Michigan State University (2019). For the last five years, he has worked in a nonprofit in Haiti and with the policy think-tank Policité (www.policite.org). He is interested in the diffusion of innovations and social norms, mainly how innovations' characteristics and social norms influence public health policies or impact health outcomes, especially in the context of climate change.
