Kristen is the Senior Director of Development for the College of ComArtSci. She started in that role in June 2024, but has been a dedicated member of the MSU Advancement team for over 8 years. Passionate about fundraising and alumni relations, she enjoys building a community of engaged and supportive alumni and donors. Her mission is to create lasting connections that span from graduation to retirement and beyond, and supporting donors philanthropic giving in the ways that inspire them most while also enhancing students' educational experiences to the fullest.

Before her time at Michigan State University, Kristen spent over 8 years working in fundraising and volunteer management for the American Cancer Society, where she honed her skills and deepened her commitment to impactful philanthropy.

Outside of her professional life, she resides in Lansing, with her wife, and their adventurous 3-year-old. They cherish exploring the beautiful state of Michigan together, particularly enjoying the thrill of their daughter’s “firsts.” These memorable moments include her first visit to Lake Michigan, her first jump off the family pontoon boat, and her first tent camping betboom sports betting in Northern Michigan. Kristen's love for adventure and family time enriches her life and fuels her passion for her work at the university.
